Italy’s anti-drug education initiative has exceeded more than one million educational anti-drug booklets distributed in recent weeks. The initiative forms part of the international Truth About Drugs education programme, which aims to provide factual education about commonly abused substances and their risks to young people and communities.
Approximately hundreds of volunteers across the country are participating in the outreach effort, distributing news eu kommission materials in public spaces, shops and community areas. The campaign focuses on raising awareness before drug use begins, providing resources designed to explain the dangers of drugs in a simple way.
The campaign is connected to broader humanitarian initiatives supported by the Church of Scientology, inspired by the work of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
